Cash Direct Express

Debra of Fyffe, AL December 30, 2009

They charged my banking account a fee for clip and save coupons that i didnt agree to then proceeded to tell me it was in the terms and conditions of applying online for information about payday loans. Now my account is overdrawn not only did it cost me 19.95 now it looks like i will have to pay an nsf fee to.

LuAnne of Albuquerque, NM October 21, 2009

They kept calling and calling me and when I finally answered they demanded th total amount instead of refusing to work with me. When I told them I could pay off a little at a time they threatened me with lawyers and said I would be listed as "refusal to pay." I have worked with Collection Attorneys before and they were never rude like this to anyone. I have no idea how much I originally borrowed. They would not tell me, I am sure it has been paid since they have been taking money out of my account under a different name. I finally had to close my account and get a new account issued.

Gary of Amarillo, TX May 1, 2009

These people call me at work, and i ask them along with my supervisor to quit calling and they still do.The first time they called me they told me that I owe 748.00 on a 400.00 dollar loan.I tried to ask them if i can pay it out and they were rude and did not want to work with me.I told them that my account was closed and they ignored me and hung up on me.

They called me over and over at work to the point its interfering with my job. After numerous times asking them not to call my place of buisness, they called on my phone and I answered this was 5-1-09.I told the guy that I would pay him 150.00 on 5-8-09 and he refused it and told me he was going to put me down as refusal to pay.He also told me he was going to fax all my information to my work and start collections.

At that time he hung up on me.I have tried to do a payout with them from the start and they refused. With all that I have seen on my statement they have taken out about 700.00 since this 400.00 dollar loan.It was 106.00 every two weeks for interest charges. You could not pay-down on your loan at the website, they just kept on taking interest out time after time.

I unfortunately took out a 400 loan in January with cash direct express. They also are with GECC who is with the CFSA. GECC is what shows up on my bank statement. I was told that my total would be 506. They claim they told me or I read very fine print that if they do not recieve a call from me within 3 days prior to my due date they would not have permission to take out the whole amount all at once. However they aparently have the permission to charge me over %275 interest.

My total according to them is now over 1100 for a 400 loan. I have paid 676 and they say 40 of that went to principal. According to them I owe 455.40 still. I am willing to take this as far as needed. Thank You for your time.

Mary of Oldmsar, FL December 1, 2008

Mary of Oldmsar FL (12/01/08)
Back in July 2008 my husband was out of work from having his right hip replaced and we were moving. So I did what I dreaded doing and took out a loan on CashDirectExpress.com. I took out a 400 (that was the most they would allow) and set everything up to be automatically withdrawn every pay day. Well, finally my husband asked me recently Why are they still taking money out? This thing should have been paid off long ago!

Upon investigating our account and trying to speak with the company...we found out they have taken from us so far 1051.20...for a 400 LOAN!? So we asked about getting reimbursed and the idiot representative told me we misunderstood the loan payments and we still owe them 303.60!!! I screamed at the woman that if anyone owes anyone anything it's them owing me. Not the best route I know so my husband calmly took over.

We asked our bank if they could stop payments but the bank said that the company takes a different amount every time so the bank can't stop the payments since it's not the same amount every time! We have a 2 year old daughter and my husband has to have his left hip replaced in January so we can't keep affording this! I feel so stupid for stepping into such an obvious scam and now I have no idea what's going to happen next. My husband wants to close our bank account because that's the only thing we can think of to keep ourselves afloat.

How can they keep asking for money when they've already taken soo much!? Conveniently enough the supervisors have been too busy to talk and we're waiting for a call back but for some reason I don't think that's going to happen!

I applied on line for a payday loan. At the end of my application I was asked to call the 800 number which I did and spoke to a representative. I gave the information asked for and was told that someone would contact me to finish processing my loan no one contacted me and the next day there was 400 in my checking account.

Starting on June 13,2008 106 was deducted from my checking account and every other week until Aug 8 the same withdrawl. Then on 8/22/08 there were to withdrawls one for 40.00 and one for 106.00. On 9/5/08 there were two withdrawls one for 40.00 and one for 95.40. When I called the 800 number I was told that I still owed a balance of 404.00. I have already paid them 811.40 supposedly just in interest. Only after paying them 800 bucks did I find several stories on them doing this to other people. They need to be stopped
