CAssi of Bridgeport, WA February 24, 2010 I was curious of what my credit score was so I decided to check it out and found that I supposably owe 54.00 to bmg music for a services I never ordered. I never even received a bill or mechendise Rebecca of GIG HARBOR, WA February 23, 2010 I could copy and paste the same complaint from the previous ones! I too have excellent credit and have never been a member of BMG Music, but I have been receiving calls from National Recovery Agency for a 30 charge from them. I told this agency years ago when they called to collect on this account, that I have never bought anything from BMG Music or even received one call or piece of mail from them (which I would think would be the first step a company would take in collecting money from their customers...), but here the fee still is years later - and I just googled them to see that they aren't even around anymore! Tracy of Cabot, AR February 23, 2010 Just got informed that BMG has hit my credit with almost 200 for collections, on what I have no idea. I didn't even know what BMG music was. I have tried to call and the numbers listed do not work. Rick of Blackfoot, ID February 18, 2010 Today (2/18/2010) I received a call from ARM Collections telling me that I owe 25.27 to BMG Music. I spoke with Mr. D., who offered to let me pay with a check by phone. In the late 1990's we had an account with BMG but we met our obligation and cancelled our membership. About 3 years ago we got called about this debt and told the caller (I don't remember the company) that we have finished our obligation and the debt isn't ours. He said it would be taken care of. It is now back. I was going to pay the 25.27 to get this out of my hair and off my credit report, but I decided I wasn't about to give my account information to some fly-by-night person who I didn't know. BMG is now out of business, so it seems pretty fraudlent to me. I'd like to get this off my credit history. It has affected my credit score. Melissa of Rock Springs , WY February 18, 2010 I pulled my credit report and saw that there was a collection on my account. The collection agency is called National Credit Solutions. I called the company and they informed me that they debtor was a company called BMG music. I then tried to contact this company and can not reach anyone. I have never purchased anything from BMG music and feel that this is all in error. I would like it to be removed from my credit report. I have contacted the collection agency, disputed the account on my credit report and have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission as well. I do not know what else to do. Andrea of Brooklyn, NY February 12, 2010 My credit report is showing a delinquent account from NCS, originating with BMG Music service in the amount of less than 200 for an account opened in 2005. I've never used BMG Music Service and never had an account with them. I've already disputed this but I want this removed. I've already put a fraud alert on my reports. My credit score has been hit by 30 points. Elvira of El Paso, TX February 9, 2010 I have received an issue on my credit report from BMG music service, saying that I owe them 199.00 dolars. This has affected my credit. I called NCS and spoke with John and he was very rude!!! I asked for the phone number of BMG and his answer was, you have to do that on your own. I been trying to get the phone number for them but is disconnected. I placed a dispute under my credit report. Samantha of Caseyville, IL February 9, 2010 I have received an issue on my credit report from BMG music service, saying that I owe them 222. This has affected my credit because when I go to get my credit checked to get a cell phone they want a ridiculous amount for me to start a plan. The only thing I know about this BMG place is that my parents used to buy me CD's from there when I was younger. But back then we PAID them all the money we owed. And I know for a fact it does not cost 222 for some CD's. Does anyone know HOW I can get this removed from my credit report? My credit score is now affected by this because I can't even purchase a cell phone without having to put a huge deposit down first. I have not even used this service in YEARS. Phuong of quincy, MA February 4, 2010 never opened an account with BMG music and I have been reported to the credit bureau for an over due balance of 2700. It has dropped my credit score. I have been turned down for many credit cards. kay of boston, MA February 2, 2010 i sent a payment of 23.98 in error on 12/29/109, i can't find a contact number. i contacted yourmusic .com and they took over for bmg music and they said the did not receive my payment, yet my bank paid it.
