Allied Interstate is the collection agency for BMG Music. They have called my daughter several times, she is a minor, about a shipment of CD's that she ordered. The cd's were a free offer with a magazine subscription , all she had to pay was the shipping and handling. We paid that. Now we are tood that we owe over 50 for cd's that were never ordered.

I have asked for a statement and /pr a copy of the letter that they (the collection agency) supposedly sent us but have been told they cannot generate a hard copy for me. If they want my money, they have to provide me with something in return. I was able to speak with a manager, but he was of no help whatsoever. Idid ask them to refrain from calling my daughter on her phone. He did tell me that they would stop.

So far, the collection agency has stopped calling, but I had to discuss this issue with them for over 30 minutes. I can think of better ways to spend my time. It has made both my daughter and myself leary of any free offers anymore.

Company had been calling up to 10X a day for months without saying who/what they were looking for. 'Cease communication' order the FDCPA was sent and received by the company in June 6. 2008 at 9:36 am. I still recieived calls on June 6 in the afternoon and evening and am already geeting calls today, June 7. Under the statue the order is considered in effect irregardless of the person/people making the calls knows or has been forwared the order.

Being disturbed. They have once violated a strict liability statue and I could easily sue for the 1000. I am willing to take 150 as a good will settlement, and am giving the oppurtunity to resolve this before it becomes a legal matter.

Allied Interstate has called my work and shared my personal info and then interrogated a co-worker about me.  They are harassing me.
