Lori of Plymouh, CT November 23, 2009

I got infected with the Koobface virus through Facebook. Apparently it's been a problem FB has know about for months but it still made its way to me and infected my brand new computer in spite of the securty measures I have in place. It also infected my mother who unwittingly "Purchased" security software to deal with the problem - they now have her bank account info and this virus wiped out her secuity software plus won't let her access any other kind of security software online so she can deal with this problem.

Very disappointed with Facebook. My consequences are the incovenience of trying to get rid of this worm and possibly having to pay someone to do it. My mother's consequences are that she will have to change her bank accounts and all other information, plus pay someone to rid her computer of this insidious virus that FB has know about for months.

debrah of brabtford, ON November 21, 2009

i have facebook account and can not get in it everyone else can but i can't, told me change password i did and ended up with a whole new account, people added me and they said i was on their friends list twice, the new account will not allow me to do anything because old account is still there so i deleted new account and still can acess orginal account and no way to contact facebook as to why, get emails i can;t answer due to them not leting me acess this account

LaNell of San Jose, CA November 18, 2009

My account was disabled 11/06/09 with the note that they did not have to disclose the reason. There was an option to contact them if I thought this was an error, which I did. As of today 11/18/09, I have neither had the courtesy of a response nor has my account been re-activated.

Jeffrey of Schenectady, NY November 18, 2009

They "disabled" my account because, they said, that I was adding friends (contacts) to quickly and that, therefore, I was harassing people. I had gone to great lengths to benefit from my "friend" contacts, also based upon their terms, which they violated. They have ignored my numerous contacts and pleas to restore the account.

Wolf of none of your business, United States November 16, 2009

I joined facebook to research a book I am writing. Instead I was insulted, harassed, threatened with death, and abused by one person. I complained to abuse@facebook but after one week, they have done nothing. My reputation has been ruined, and it has made me ill, too sick to work on my book.

Carrie of binghamton, NY November 13, 2009

My facebook account was hacked into and my whole computer infected with a virus...it ruined my computer! all i wanted to do was delete the account which it would not let me do unless i bought antivirus software...i should not have to do that if i just want to delete my account..and of course i cannot get ahold of anyone

NICOLE of HOWARD BEACH, NY November 9, 2009

they have no working number or contact info on the site. in the event of emergencies there is no way to contact them. my account is not letting me log in, days already. an entire community and my 200 friends can see my information but i cannot; this is an invasion of privacy and the website harbors information of yours even when you cannot see it. if i cant access it, i want my page deleted. it does not belong to them. i am sick over this 4 days lookign for numbers online, finally get them, automated, keep reconnecting you back and forth with no live help and nobody to return calls or emails. disgusted

Eric of Bellevue, WA November 3, 2009

No way to send any feedback. The "clever" way my "friends" email is not a link or even text, but an image, makes it impossible to email someone. I imagine they want to drive a person to use FB as the default email service, which is goofy and stupid and irritating. If I want to send an email, don't make me work any harder than I have to. I'm not a big fan, but lots of folks are. Oh well. I think FB sucks.

Dean of Redmond, WA October 30, 2009

I was informed that my account had been frozen because it had been hacked or security breached; while I appreciate that [they] apparently detected this, the steps I need to take to solve the problem are not clear at all. If security issues are so important, why does it take days to resolve the issue; at least communicate what [they] are doing.

No economic damage but have lost contact with some friends during family health emergencies. Simply not acceptable. If not resolved soon. will have to cancel and use MySpace or some other site.

Eliza of Corrales, NM October 30, 2009

I have no idear how, but face book sent out an invite to a bunch of people in my e mail box. I am not happy! I only know this because of all the people who have joined my page thinking I sent them an invite. and one of the addresses has a lot of people on it and it came back to me too, so now I have no idear who got this and who did not. I did not see this note before it was sent out. The gives the impresion that I wrote the invite makes me sounds like a vain person.

Now I have people on my page that I would rather not have snooping around my info. I am so pissed off about this. If it was not for the fact that I live 5000 miles away from friends and familly I would have quit face book! I am totaly embarrased about the invite that went out. If I had wanted to invte someone I would do it one by one. I have no idear what happened but I should have been clear! this sneaky way of getting people to join up is just not right.
