I booked a hotel thru hotels.com I cancelled the reservation. I am now being hassled by bill me later. I called them and told them I had cancelled and they told me they would close the account, which they did. They are now billing me for 57 and calling me at work. I am paying for something I NEVER used. The manager I talked to was unresponsive. I feel this company is the biggest scam I have seen lately

we have express scripts, when express scripts ask us do you wnat to be billed later, of course you say yes. then you get a bill from bill me later. 19.99% rate, daily.0547%. then you have a hard time explaining you didn"t sign up for bml. It is very deceiving using the title bill me later. How many other people has this happened to.

Using Blue Mountain e-cards online I seem to have invoked billing by BillMeLater. I thought their US Mail communications were junk mail. I called today and paid the base amount that would have been due, 15.99, for Blue Mountain Cards. However, between March 18 and June 17 they tacked on another 25 in fees, more than I initial owed Blue Mountain Cards.
There is a place on this staement in front of me that says their ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE for this billing cycle is 104.39%
No one, for anything, should charge an APR 104.39%. Further, adding on late fees in excess of the original debt is absurd.
BillMeLater has agreed to remove these fees and I have paid the initial 15.99 due. Now I want to be sure I never incur any charges through this "service" again. Their telephone support was courteous and helpful, I have no complaint against them.
I cannot imagine there would not be a class action suit against such charging practices!

[They] say that I have a membership fee with Blue Mountain (on-line e-cards) since 1/2009; I tried calling Blue Mountain but cannot get a live-representative, but their automated system confirms my membership cancellation. Bill Me Later is threatening me by saying in their bill that non-payment will affect my credit. I have an excellent credit history, pls HELP!
Ivy of Daly City, CA March 1, 2009
Ivy of Daly City CA (03/01/09) I am extremely furious about how IBM treats their customers and sales method. Unfornnately I can't find my sales slip as this moment, however, I am unsure about this promotion will be applied on the online system, so I dailed to IBM to place my order as I believe that sales representative can explain the details clearly and effectively. In retrospect, the phone call experience is misleading the leads to this case. Therefore I dailed to IBM, the sales representative received the call and I told him I am going to place an order under the promotion criteria. The sales repesentative did not answer but said that I am qualified for a Bill Me Later program, which he explained I am only required to pay six months later. AS all the customer information was proivde the sales representative, so I placed the order.
However, six months later, I received the bill payment was 107.00 was a huge different. The promotion was 36.00., So I called the IBM again and find out what happened, and they refer me to talk with Bill Me Later. The customer service rep. from Bill Me later told me that the promotion was expired by the time I order, this is very extremely made me mad, also I talk the customer rep. that can they adjustment the payment, eventhough it can't be solve the problem and I received the service that regarded me as an ignotrant consumer, and treats me harshly with a tone that I am causing trouble with their department.
First,I am referred by the IBM customer service dept. with utmost diligence, and they asked me to call them. Second, they said I should verify the Bill me Later myself and ask them earlier. I am really surprised that whether the customer should find informaiton themselves or the sales person should supply this information during the sales person. If I know the true nature of Bill me Later program aheda, I will not even choose to join it as the interest is really high and unreasonable. I have experience with Dell, eventhough their support services is not that excellent, but the sales rep. was really explain the program to customer clear.
Nancy of Frankiln, OH January 3, 2009
Nancy of Frankiln OH (01/03/09) Recieved a letter from them stating that I was denied Bill Me Later for a purchase of 221.02 at JR Electronics on 12/17/08. I did not try to make a purchase with that company and apparently someone is using my name to try to get merchandise. I cannot get a representative from that company on the phone to clear this matter and don't want to let it continue without following up on it with so much identity theif cases going on now days.
When I call the toll free number that was supplied in the letter it is for Equifax Credit Information Services and there is a charge to pursue information.
Charles of Byron, GA December 17, 2008
Charles of Byron GA (12/17/08) They sent me an email from 'customer care' about 10 for over 50 purchases. I linked to their website and ordered blinds for 88, but my bill had no 10 credit. After weeks of calling and email and faxing, I am told it is for new customers, even though the offer is also on our billing page or told to call next week, ad infinitum. For us, they are BILLmeNEVER again.
