Price It 4 Less

Mary of Minneapolis MN (12/6/04):
My husband saw a good deal for a Sony T1 camera on priceler.com. So, we charged it to my credit card. The original charge date was 8/7/04, which was for $392.00. We received no merchandise, so my husband called on 8/20/04. $392.00 was then credited by the “company”, Price It 4 Less (aka priceler.com) on 8/20/04, however, they charged my card again on the same day, 8/20/04 for $392.00, unauthorized. This 8/20/04 charge did not show up on my credit card statement until 9/1/04. We also received no merchandise.

I contacted Price It 4 Less right away, but there was no answer. I contacted my credit card company, who closed that card, received a dispute form, which I filled out and returned right away. In the meantime, both my husband and I tried to contact this company several times, only to find the phone disconnected and there has been no contact from them.

I am still disputing the charge for $392.00 with my credit card company. They thought that the "credit" the company made was an actual credit. So I have sent (including the one I'm sending today) 3 dispute forms along with a letter. Meanwhile, this is costing me interest on the charge for $392.00.

Jonathan of American Fork UT (8/22/04):
I ordered a Digital Camera (Sony DSC F717) July 23, 2004 for the amount of $485. I was told that my camera wasn't going to be there for another week. My account was charged the July 29, 2004. They continued to tell me that they had not yet received the camera but that they would ship it as soon as they received it. I cancelled my order August 18, 2004 and was told that my account would be refunded. I was sent an e-mail that my account would be refunded, but to date (22 August, 2004) I have not seen any money put back into my account.
