Jasmin of apo ae 09053, MI November 3, 2009 Hyundai- Germany transportation to another post with the Government (on orders). The company was fine & the phone calls where great until i signed the contract & of course money was received via wire transfer my due date (leaving the US was coming close). After receiving my money they didn't bother to call on the day of pick up. I Called numerous times starting from noon on to see if someone was coming out to pick up my vehicle, I didn't hear from them at all! I wanted to talk to a Manager which was also the dispatch person and the person that I first started speaking to about shipment, HE didn't care anymore and referred me to dispatch. Approx.5 pm she told me that there we re not able to get any truckers coming my way and if I didn't have someone else to give my keys and paperwork to a neighbor or a friend, also they said I could have someone pick it up but for additional pricing from my end and store it until a trucker would come and pick it up for the vessel (which I found insulting since they knew that was the only date I was able to give them the vehicle). I told the Person that was getting the contract that I have no time for errors and that I would rather have it picked up a day earlier then to late, he said it would be no problem. After me leaving on a plane to Germany and numerous calls to the Company which they were suppose to contact me about getting my vehicle (in between plane changes) my car was picked up at my neighbors house with no pre inspection paperwork or any kind of paperwork at all (I found out there was some just not for me/ or my neighbor). I never received inspection paperwork. During the time where I thought my car was on the vessel I received a horrible e mail stating "due to writing in the loan paperwork my car didn't make the vessel" rejected by US customs. I was on the phone with my bank and dispatcher to resolve the issue from Germany. Then for some odd reason it did make the vessel and was on the way but they needed additional 640 USD or they would not proceed the shipment. I started calling the shipment agency in Germany and I was told it will be there shortly. Numerous calls and emails back and forth I received my vehicle damaged, so I went out & got a estimate on the damage which is close to 800 USD. Later I found out that I have a 500 USD deductible and I paid for extra insurance almost 200 USD added to my contract to find out that I could have saved that money since the insurance is not covering it. So I have a damaged vehicle, numerous calls and e mails to this company. No one seems to care how much money and effort I put into this. Remind ourselves they were getting paid by me for a smooth transition. My vehicle is damaged, the car was a mess, my license plate is stolen and the insurance is not covering it, i cant believe this! I am a physical wreck, i am worried constantly what else is going to happen!! I am scared checking my e mail because this is a nightmare which is never ending. I have never dealt with such a company in my life and all i want is my car in the condition it was before the damage and i want to never hear about this company again! Carol of Halifax, PA September 17, 2009 I hired Global Logistics to move my car. The contract stated, because it was on an 18 wheeler car hauler, they would get as close as possible to the drop off location. I agreed and understood (I told them) an 18 wheeler would not be able to get to the location but to get to the closest town (about 2 miles away) would be fine. They dropped the car 10 miles away because, in my opinion, the driver was heading to New York and did not want to divert off the interstate. I was en-route so my elderly parents were taking delivery of my car; this forcing them to travel further than expected or wanted. Cortez of Killeen, TX September 8, 2009 I hired this company to transport my vehicle from Killeen, Tx to Louisville, Ky and they failed to follow through with the contract. I'm deploying today and had asked them to pick up my vehicle before today Sept. 8th. On the contract it states that it would be picked up between the 4th and 5th of September. They failed to call me and let me know that wouldn't be happening and then i stated that i would be satisfied if they picked it up by 5 p.m. central time on the 8th and they didn't have a driver dispatched for it. Now they refuse to refund my money even though they said that they would because it was their mess up. Report Your Experience
